It” is a screenprint based on one of my earlier collages, inspired by ancient depictions of the Eye Goddess. She is a bearer of good fortune and a protector against the Evil Eye — a watchful guardian who never ceases to see.
I imagined her as a strange and curious being, half woman and half bird, attentive to everything happening around her. Like a bird observing the world, she tilts her head left and right, left and right, without moving the rest of her body — forever alert, forever aware.
