Travel Chess Set - Magnetic Heritage pieces

Folding chess board with magnetic Heritage hand carved - miniature chess pieces.

The chess pieces featuring our unique Knight design are hand carved and machine turned in Ebony & Boxwood, and measure between 3.5cm and 6.5cm. A small magnet is encased within the base of the chess piece and each piece is completed with a Nappa leather base felt featuring the Purling crown logo embossed in 18 carat gold.

The chess board is hand-made and pieced together from Acacia, measuring 31cm x 31cm x 3.5cm (open) and 31cm x 15.5cm x 7cm (closed)

A slim metal sheet sits beneath the surface to enable the magnetic pieces to remain in place when playing - on the move.

The two sides of the chess board connect together with sunken magnets, to produce a flush surface.

The pieces can be stored away inside the chess board, when not in play or use.
